Finally getting to share these! Jessica and I went to Mexico during the week of Thanksgiving to shoot Josh & Sasha’s wedding at Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita. This resort was seriously amazing! I have never experienced such luxury in my life! There is just not enough space on this blog post to say everything that I want to say about this place. Unbelievable.
Anyways, we got there on Sunday and the weather was gorgeous. The resort sent a shuttle to pick us up, and the driver greeted us with a bottle of champagne and moist cloths soaked in Bvlgari lotion. We had about a day and a half to relax, eat like royalty, roll some cigars and scope out some cool spots to shoot photos. So the wedding day finally came and BOOM…rain. Thankfully though, it let up about 30 minutes before we started shooting and once the sun came back out it made for a very pleasant evening. The ceremony and reception went great, and we ended the night dancing and partying with the whole crowd! Here are some of my faves from the week…
Oh, and my sexy assistant took many of these photos! She did a great job…
Logan and Brooke claimed the much sought after 11.11.11 date on my calendar last year for their November wedding at the Texas Discovery Gardens. It was an awesome outdoor ceremony in some awesome weather. I had a great time working with these two, and their guests were a blast to hang with all night. Then they left in the coolest old antique car. Being a dude, I should know what kind it is, but I don’t. haha. Here are some highlights…
I went out to Midloathian in November to shoot some Bride and Groom pics for Courtney and Matt. Remember them? We pretty much took a tour of Midlothian while we shot these, stopping at the playground, a couple of fields, a pond and ending up at their home to have a pillow fight! We tore open some feather pillows out in a field next to their house and they went at it! Thankfully I didn’t have to stick around long enough to help clean up! haha. Here are some of my faves… Happy Valentines Day!
It was so hard to keep these under wraps for this long! First of all, Samantha is beautiful, so it is hard to take a bad photo of her. But the Fairmont was an awesome spot for bridal portraits. And we had access to everything, so the photos turned out so cool. I really like using natural lighting in photos, but every once in a while it is fun and refreshing to get really creative with lighting and shoot a session like this. Check it out!
