  1. Jonathan & Melissa’s Downtown McKinney Engagements

I have been a blogging machine lately! One more engagement session for today. I met Jonathan and Melissa in McKinney to do their engagement photos in the hot hot heat yesterday. Then we headed over to a nearby field where we saw a flattened possum, and then a giant spider crawled across Melissa’s shirt and almost onto Jonathan’s head. I squealed like a girl when I saw it. It was kinda embarrassing. We made use of some awesome clouds and a sweet sunset too. Oh, and those field pics with the high grass…the grass looks nice and soft, right? Wrong! I have stab wounds on my legs, haha. Totally worth it though. Anyways, here are some of my favorites…

  2. Tom & April’s Adriatica McKinney Engagements

I met up with Tom and April EARLY Saturday morning to shoot their engagements. They were much more chipper, awake and happy than I would’ve been on the other side of the lens that early in the morning. Especially considering the fact that it has been 110 degrees at 8am, and they were in dressy clothes. I would’ve been pretty grumpy, but not them. Samantha grew up with my little sister and I was so excited when her and Kyle contacted me to do their wedding photos. I was also excited that they agreed to go along with my crazy idea of walking around in the lake for some pics. You take your life into your hands when you walk around in some Texas lakes. Texans like beer, beer is best at the lake and beer bottles are made of glass. So we had to be careful, but the pics turned out pretty cool! I almost fell into the water with my camera gear too, but recovered and it was all good! Here are some of my favorite pics…

  4. Brittany’s Off The Grid Downtown Dallas Bridals

After original plans to shoot Brittany’s bridals at a swanky downtown hotel fell through, she decided to do them at Off The Grid instead. I am so insanely glad that she did! These photos turned out awesome! But it’s not even the location that makes these photos great… Brittany KILLED IT! She did such a great job taking instruction and knowing exactly what to do without me even having to tell her. I am so stoked she is letting me post these too! Most brides (for good reason) don’t want me posting them until after the wedding, but she said, ” Eh, I’ll just tell George not to look.” That is a marriage destined to succeed right there! Here are some of my faves…
