David & Susan’s Downtown Plano Engagements

I loved this session for a couple reasons. First of all, I have been wanting to shoot in downtown Plano for a while now, and finally got the chance. It’s a pretty great spot to get some cool images. Secondly, since David lives close to where I live, we shot all around my neck of the woods in Wylie and I didn’t have to drive an hour to get home afterwards, haha. Finally, David and Susan are a really cool couple to hang with and photograph. And David found the biggest sunflower field I have ever seen, and it’s 2 seconds from my house (I will be revisiting). So that is where we ended at sunset. It was super hot outside, but we got some good shooting in. Here are some of my favorites…
Morgan & Brooke’s Hilton Bella Harbor Wedding

Remember Morgan & Brooke from a few months back? They got married at the Hilton Bella Harbor in Rockwall a few weeks ago, and I am finally getting to share a sneak from their wedding. Jessica and I had a ton of fun at this wedding. Mainly because Jessica graduated with Brooke, Morgan and I graduated from the same school (one or two years apart), and they both go to our old church, so we knew nearly everyone that was there. It was like a big reunion. Morgan and Brooke are hilarious too. Seriously one of the funniest couples to be around. And this DJ did something that was probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen at a wedding…he made the whole bridal party compete in a dance contest. And that wouldn’t have been half as much fun as it was if the whole bridal party weren’t so stinkin’ funny. They ended up leaving the reception a little early, so Jessica and I met them up at their hotel room to photograph………. a pillow fight (get your mind out of the gutter, haha). Morgan & Brooke got married last weekend, so I finally get to share these. We did these at the Hilton Bella Harbor in Rockwall a few months ago. It was hot and sweaty, but they turned out pretty cool. All of the awesome lights and wallpaper all over this hotel accent the photos really well. Not to mention, having a bride as photogenic as Brooke doesn’t hurt!
