  1. Cole & Courtney’s Downtown McKinney Engagements

Say hello to Cole and (Julianne Hough’s look-alike) Courtney! haha. Even though I knew that I wasn’t shooting an engagement session for Julianne Hough, I had to constantly keep reminding myself of that. It was nuts! These two were a hoot to be around. So much fun and SUPER photogenic. The plan was to start out in downtown McKinney and then end up in Adriatica. Well, knowing this, Jessica and I planned on visiting a very highly rated Italian restaurant in Adriatica called Cavali’s when we were done. During the course of the shoot, they brought up this same restaurant, so we made it a double date. This, in turn, made the whole shoot seem like a buildup to the much anticipated pizza we had heard so much about. But that didn’t stop us from getting some sweet pics. And the wait was totally worth it. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. Drop what you’re doing and go eat there now. Then come back and look at some of the pics we got

  2. Marc & Tamara’s Aldredge House Wedding

Marc and Tamara got married at the Aldredge House in Dallas a couple weeks back. Marc is also a photographer, and it’s always a little nerve racking shooting another photographer, but Marc and Tamara are super cool. They were both way too calm considering how late everything got started (thanks a lot traffic!). Even though everything didn’t go exactly according to plan, the night still went great and everyone had a good time. Here are some pics from the night…

  3. Chris & Christina’s Forney Engagement Session

Say hi to Chris and Christina…the two who’s celebrity couple name is…Christina! We went out and took some engagement pics last week and had a pretty darn good time! We started out at a park in Forney to get some pics with their pups, and then I jumped in with them and headed towards a cool junkyard they found. It was pretty stinkin’ awesome, as you can tell from the photos. We got chigger bites and possibly tetanus, but I think it was worth it. Check it out…

  4. Matt & Courtney’s Fort Worth YWCA Wedding

Remember these two? Well this is a wedding that Jessica and I have been so excited about for a long time now. After shooting their engagements, realizing how much fun these two were, hearing all of the ideas she had for her wedding and then seeing everything come to life on her website, I almost tried to convince them to move their date up so it could hurry up and get here already! They got married at the YWCA in Downtown Ft. Worth, which is definitely one of my favorite places to shoot. Walking in, I knew that it was going to be pretty great, but after seeing all of the center pieces, tables, decor and all of the details, Jessica, Valerie and me were all blown away. It looked like something straight out of a magazine or design website. Everything looked fantastic. At one point during the day, Courtney gave me a little gnome named Guiseppe to take photos of in random spots (I’m not stealing Lynn Michelle’s Gnomie, lol). They have been taking photos of him all over the place and wanted it to be known that he was present at the wedding. So I had a lot of fun with that. Huge thanks to Valerie Valdez for second shooting with me for this wedding! Here are some of my faves from the night….

  5. Garth & Bonnie’s Texas Discovery Gardens Wedding

I have been so excited about this wedding from the moment I met with Bonnie and her mother several months ago. First of all, they got married at the Texas Discovery Gardens at Fair Park, which is somewhere I have been wanting to shoot for a long time! Second of all, Bonnie is one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life and through all of our correspondence up until the big day, she has been a pleasure to work with. So I have known this whole time that this was going to be an awesome wedding. But it wasn’t until I met Garth that I knew how awesome it was going to be. He is a hoot! And they are insanely perfect together. All of the details at this wedding were incredible, and to top everything off, Motley Crue and Poison were soundchecking right next door at Fair park for an upcoming concert! So, in escence, their wedding band was Motley Crue! Here are some of my faves from the night…
