  1. Shane & Amanda’s Fort Worth Wedding

It seems like this wedding has been in the works forever! I knew this would be a fun wedding from the minute I met Shane and Amanda over a year ago at another wedding I shot. They were dancing all goofy-like and cracking Jessica and I up. Then we had a ton of fun shooting their engagements, which got us even more excited for this wedding. So the day finally came and it was nothing short of a blast. Shane and Amanda are so much fun to be around and their bridal party was a hoot as well. Here are some of my faves from the day…

  2. Tim & Amanda Rustic Outdoor Wedding

Jessica and I headed out to Bullard, TX last Saturday night to shoot Tim & Amanda’s backyard wedding, and we truly had no idea what we were in for. Normally, when I hear “backyard wedding”, I think small and simple. Well it was small, but simple would be the understatement of the year. The details at this wedding were insane cool. Amanda’s mom put so much time into every little detail at this wedding, and it made for such an amazing setup. From mason jars hanging from the trees with tea-lights in them, all the way down to the almost unnoticeable pins holding the table cloths back. I was so excited for how cool everything looked! We did the reveal pretty soon after arriving and their reactions to one another were priceless. You could see how excited they both were and it made for a stress-free relaxed evening. Here are some of my favorites. I normally don’t post this many photos in one post…I just couldn’t help myself.

One of my images was featured again on Dallas Wedding Planner’s blog for their “Lovin’ This Image” series. They chose an image of the coolest bouquet from Josh & Alyssa’s wedding last Halloween. Very cool!

  4. Matt & Hailey’s [500] Days of Summer Engagement Shoot

So you saw my little brother a while back…now it’s my sister’s turn. After she got engaged to Matt, I was stoked because that meant I got to shoot their engagements! My sister and I share a love for the movie [500] Days of Summer, so I was up late one night and got an idea to theme their engagements after the movie. I shot her a text to see what she thought and got an immediate “Oh my gosh, YES!” back. So we planned it out and spent all day shooting. We started at Ikea, went to a library in Plano, stopped by Bill’s Records in Dallas, found a grassy area on the edge of downtown and ended up at the Southside on Lamar. It was super tiring and took all day, but I think the finished product looks pretty great.

Also, I’m using a new watermark as well as a new photo layout that fits my images and my personality better. I’m not really a “uniform” kind of guy, and the randomized photo layout feels more…me! Anyways, here are some shots from the shoot.
